About to PASSD 2026
The 2026 International Conference on Public Art, Social Science, and Development (PASSD 2026) will be grandly held in Luoyang, China. The conference aims to explore the interactive mechanism between public art and social development, and promote the interdisciplinary integration of art, humanities, and social innovation. Artists, social scientists, urban planners, cultural policymakers, and community practitioners from around the world will gather in this ancient capital city with a history of over a thousand years to engage in in-depth dialogues on core topics such as "Art Empowering Social Governance," "Cultural Regeneration of Public Spaces," "Participatory Art in the Digital Age," "Urban and Rural Aesthetic Education and Social Equity," "Contemporary Translation of Cultural Heritage," and "Social Value in the Integration of Culture and Tourism." As an important birthplace of Chinese civilization, Luoyang is actively exploring new paths for art to intervene in urban renewal and rural revitalization, based on its historical and cultural heritage, providing rich local experiences and practical examples for the conference. PASSD 2026 will build an international exchange platform through keynote speeches, symposiums, art project exhibitions, and field visits. Accepted papers will be recommended for publication in EI/Scopus. We sincerely invite colleagues from all walks of life to actively participate and jointly draw a future vision of the symbiosis and prosperity of art and society!

All full paper submissions to the PASSD 2026 could be written in English and will be sent to at least two reviewers and evaluated based on originality, technical or research content or depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. All accepted papers of PASSD 2026 will be published in the conference proceedings, which will be submitted to EI Compendex, Scopus for indexing.

Submission Guidelines
Delegates are encouraged to submit their papers/abstracts to the conference. Good quality papers will be selected by the organizing committee and Prof. Soteris Kalogirou, the editor in chief. After it, the authors will be invited to extent their papers/abstracts and submit them to icsspa@sub-paper.com. The normal size of research papers is 4,000-6,000 words excluding abstract and references.
